Brussel Sprouts

1/2 cube of butter 1/3 cup olive oil 4 cloves garlic 1 bag brussel sprouts 1/2 cup water sea salt fresh ground pepper   Clean and Trim brussel sprout stems. Remove bad leaves and slice. In a large pan, add the brussel sprouts, butter and about 1 TB salt. Cover and steam on low heat.

Perfect Steamed White Rice

1 cup white rice 2 1/2 cups water 1 TB olive oil   Add water to a pot along with the olive oil, and place on high heat until it boils. Add rice, stir and allow to boil.  Reduce heat to low, cover and let steam undisturbed for 20-25 minutes. Fluff with a fork, and
