Ground Beef with Asparagus

2 lbs. Ground Beef

1 Medium Onion, diced

3 Cloves Garlic, minced

1 lb. Asparagus , cleaned, sliced into 1 inch pieces

2 Tb. Olive Oil

1 tsp. Parsley Flakes

1/2 tsp. Pepper

salt to taste or 3 cubes Beef Bouillon

optional- 1 lb. Baby Portobello Mushrooms, sliced

 

In a deep pan over medium heat olive oil.  Add ground beef, and cook about 8- 10 minutes.  Add all remaining ingredients, and cook, stirring well. Cover, lower heat and simmer until veggies are tender but crisp.

This ground beef goes great with steamed rice.
